Photo: Man who robs by drugging his victims nabbed




The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Lagos State Police Command has arrested 39 year old Akeem Ogunniran, an indigene of Osun State, who allegedly robs jewelries merchants of their jewelries after drugging them.

Akeem was arrested after he allegedly drugged two women then robbed them of their jewelry valued at about N7million. Feigning to become a wealthy man, Police say Akeem, after identifying jewelry dealers will invite them to his accommodation, claiming he wants to purchase jewelry from them. If they reach his accommodation, he'll offer them drinks already drugged and immediately his victims fall under the influence of the sedative, then absconds with their goods.

Police say he'd been arrested repeatedly for similar cases but had managed to flee prosecution

Blood needed in Kano to save blast victims




Medical authorities have called for blood donation for victims of the Kano state bomb blast that happened on Monday June 23rd at the Kano School of Hygiene Gida Murtala road in Kano.
A few of the victims who are still receiving treatment at the Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital are in dire need of blood, doctors say. Yesterday students of the Kano School of Hygiene were seen at the hospital coming to donate blood for their  colleagues....
Pictured above is the the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi II when he paid a visit to the victims at the hospital yesterday. Eight people died from the blast while 12 others suffered serious injuries.

Agagu Plane crash - See The Touching Facebook Update Of One Of The Victims Moment Before The Crash




Akeem was one of the unfortunate victims of the ill-fated Agagu crash which occurred on the 3rd of Ocotber 2013. He was an employee with MIC Royal caskets and died along side 3 other colleagues, his Boss Mr Tunji Akinsanya & son Tunji Akinsanya Jr. His facebook posts were really touching.Sounds like he had a premonition .He kept updating his status on the morning of the crash (The crash also happened around some minutes past 9am)

Naija Sha!!! Hoodlums Trade blow over money found on crash victims #LagosPlaneCrash




Some hoodlums on Thursday were seen exchanging blows and throwing bottles at each other over the money they located on the dead victims of the Associated Airline plane crash.
When our correspondent surely got to the scene of the incident, he observed that the hoodlums had turned the street leading to the crash site to a boxing ground.
It was learnt that after the hoodlums were assisting in the evacuation of the victims, they allegedly searched the victims'pockets for the money and other valuable things.

"My Tomboy Wife Brutally Beats Me Up"



Nothing could be more cruel than a splash of pepper sauce on the face, but the ensuing drama was even more gruesome than his worst nightmares.
He tried running out of the house while crying for help but his beastly wife descended heavily on him with a knife, stabbing him with all the current power she could muster. He managed to shove her off and ran out of his house screaming for help.

As if that was not enough, she defied all entreaties by on-lookers, ran back into the house and returned with a bowl of petrol. Bystanders ran for their dear lives paving the way for her heinous act. She poured the contents on him and set him ablaze. On the throes of death, Johnson staggered to a nearby gutter to put out the fire on his body, but that made no difference. She came after him yet again to complete the act with a knife. Even after Johnson was rescued from his murderer and rushed to the hospital, he could not live to tell the story of what transpired. That was the fate of Johnson for having a vampire as a wife.

PHOTONEWS: Governor Orji visit FMC Umuahia to sympathize with NANS accident victims



Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji has sympathized with Nigerian students over the death of five executives of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) including the Senate President, Donald Onukaogu in a ghastly motor accident that occurred in Ikwuano, Abia State on their way to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Governor who visited victims of the accident at the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia where they were receiving treatment described the incident as a calamity and sympathetic.
 
He cautioned drivers to be careful while on the wheels as well as to maintain a manageable speed, maintaining that many would not have died if they were not on high speed.

Victims of Edo explosion for mass burial today



The mass burial announced by authorities of the University of Benin
Teaching Hospital for victims of last Friday’s multiple accident on the Benin-Ore Road, in Igbogui, Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State, will hold on Saturday (today).
Authorities of the hospital had arranged to bury the corpses of the
victims on Wednesday but could not, apparently due to their inability to secure enough space for about 60 corpses from the accident, that were deposited at its mortuary.
A source at the hospital said the victims would be buried at the Third Cemetery, located on Akugbe Street, off New Lagos Road, Benin.

Genevieve, Tiwa Savage Dragged To Delta State By Don Jazzy, Dr Sid For Flood Victims � Donate Relief Materials



 Don Jazzy, Genevieve, Emma Uduaghan, Tiwa Savage and Dr SidOn Monday, October 15, 2012, Nollywood star actress, Genevieve Nnaji, Don Jazzy and his other Mavin records crew were in Delta State to show their supports for the flood victims of the state. Don Jazzy and Dr Sid, who both hail from Delta State, dragged Genevieve and Tiwa Savage to the state for the humanitarian purpose.

While in the state, they visited the state governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan to show their concern on the natural disaster that ravaged his state. Nigeriafilms gathered that the crew provided the flood victims with food, relief materials, and medical supplies. The victims were also sensitized on the causes of flood. The visit, as we learnt, lasted two days.
