Mother & triplets detained in hospital in Delta state for 7 weeks over medical bill




A new mother and her newborn triplets were detained in a private hospital in Asaba, Delta State for 7 weeks after failing to pay about N725k medical bill. The mother, Mrs Echenim, said she was barred from leaving her room from when she gave birth in July till early September because of her family's inability to pay the bills. The triplets’ father, Godswill Echenim, said he took his wife to the clinic because of the prolonged strike by doctors in public hospital. "For about 7 weeks, since the kids were delivered, we have been in this hospital. I had registered my wife for ante-natal at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, but because of the strike by doctors, I brought her here for the delivery." He said last week. Continue...

 Listed here are photos from the burial of Madam Flora Olamide Harold- Sodipo, the mother of Olori Oladunni Sijuwade, the wife of the Imperial Majesty, Oba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II, the Ooni of Ife. Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother reveals she tried tried to 'abort' the Legend !




Inside her recently released autobiography Mãe Coragem (which means ‘Mother Courage') , mother of Critiano Ronaldo, Dolores Aveiro, claimed that she tried to abort him when she was pregnant by'drinking warm beer'and'running until she dropped'

Although she didn't give any basis for attempting to abort her unborn child, Dolores said she'd approached her doctor to carry out the abortion but he didn't accept it and refused to complete it. She then resorted to carrying it out herself by drinking warm beer and running with the hope that she'd lose the pregnancy.

I'm a married man with a beautiful wife and a twelve months old baby. I recently lost my job without prior notification. I've almost no savings to fall back on but my mother-in-law who is very wealthy says she would be sending me money for my loved ones upkeep. I expected her to offer money to her daughter but she's insisting on giving it to me. Should I accept the offer or not, knowing fully well how women could be if they start giving you small change?

Photos: ₦7billion Festival Of Waste As First Lady Patience Mother Gets “State Burial” In Okrika



 A amount of N7billion (naira) of Nigeria's  tax payers funds was wasted on the burial of the foster mother of Nigeria's first lady, Patience Jonathan in her hometown of Okrika in Rivers State on the weekend.
the events which kicked off on Thursday saw the attendance of the President , Vice President, several state governors and ministers. Saharareporters sources said funds for the burial were taken from several ministries such as the FCT, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, the ministry of Education, Delta State, Bayelsa state  and the ministry of defence. Ironically, the very first lady's mother died in a stretch of raod abandoned by the Jonathan's regime in the Niger Delta region.

7-year-old girl steals mobile phone out of a woman’s handbag while her mother watches



A disturbing video has surfaced of the moment a girl steals a mobile phone out of a woman’s handbag with the consent of a woman presumed to be her mother.  The crime was caught on CCTV at a restaurant in Norwood, Johannesburg, South Africa and the girl in question is reported to be aged seven.

All three sit down at the table and the two adult women engage in a discussion and then look over to the pair of women that are already eating their food.  One of the diners who has her back to the camera is sitting with her handbag between her and the chair.

According to gossips, Jim Iyke’s mum is currently clinging to life at a private hospital in Lagos after her battle with high blood pressure turned to stroke.

A quick check on Jim Iyke’s Twitter profile revealed
nothing of such.

Mother takes son to police after recognizing him as armed robber




A man robbed a 7-Eleven and fled before police arrived. After police reviewed the store surveillance cameras, they handed the footage to local media in an effort to catch the man.  After the clip aired, police in Sarasota, Florida, got a lucky break. The robber walked into the precinct along with his mother.

Baby elephant cries 5 hours after mother rejects him ( Pictured)



It is impossible to restrain tears, indeed, when reporting about a devastated calf losing it after nearly being stepped to death by own mother. Only moments after baby elephant was born in a Chinese wildlife park, his mother displayed unusually aggressive behavior towards him. Wildlife officials decided to part the baby from the parent. Unfortunately, the little elephant could not stand it and broke into bitter tears. Zookeepers couldn’t calm him down for five hours.

Mother, son clash over sale of family house



A 44-year-old man, Ikechukwu Ozichukwu, and his mother, Mrs. Comfort Ebubechukwu, are locked in battle over the sale of one of the family’s houses.

The building, a semi-detached duplex located on 21 Road, H Close, FESTAC, Lagos State, was allegedly sold in January 2013 while Ozichukwu was still living there with his wife and two children.

Nollywood actor Bob Manuel Udokwu laid his mother to rest on Friday, August 30, 2013 and some have expressed their disappointment at the absence of other nollywood stars at the event.
According to eyewitness, the family and members of the community from which the actor turned politicians hails expected to see some of the stars that usually grace their screens, only to be disappointed as Nollywood actors and reps were hardly represented at the burial.

Lobatan: Mother Pregnant For Son, Set To Get Married




They have fallen in love with one another. And now they want to marry since the mom, Betty Mbereko from Mwenezi in Masvingo, is five months pregnant and expecting her son’s child.


Mbereko (42), who was widowed 11 years ago, has been cohabiting with her first child, Farai Mbereko (23). She confirms that she is six months pregnant and that she has decided it is better to “marry” her son because she does not want to marry her late husband’s young brothers, whom she says are coveting her.

I was rá-ped from age of 12 to 16 and I was rá-ped by my father.
It started one day when he picked me up early from school he gave me a glass of alcohol. He made me drink it then told me to take a bath. I assumed it was because I started feeling a little ill due to the alcohol. Soon he came into the bathroom and told me to go relax on the bed. I was scared and begged him not to hurt me but he did. He hurt me and abused me. I felt terrible inside me, I was crying but he did not stop.
